Every watch comes with its own fitness app, and every fitness app shows the same thing: this week's steps, last night's sleep, a heart rate chart. What none of them shows is why. Why resting heart rate went up in March, why sleep got shorter in the weeks you started a new tablet, why steps fell before the knee was ever mentioned to a doctor. Those answers live in your health record, and that is where Anpheros Daily puts your fitness data.

Steps and workouts
Steps, distance, active energy and workouts, day by day, from your watch or phone.

Heart rate
Heart rate as 4-hour summaries, resting heart rate and heart rate variability, so you see the trend, not thousands of dots.

Sleep
Time asleep and sleep stages from your watch or ring, next to the energy and mood you note yourself.

Any watch
Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura, Withings: through Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android.
Fitness tracker app for iPhone and Android: how the data gets in
Anpheros Daily does not connect to your watch directly and never asks for your Fitbit or Garmin password. It reads the two places where phones already keep this data:
- On iPhone, Apple Health. Apple Watch writes into it automatically; Garmin Connect, Oura, Withings and most other apps can too. See Apple Health.
- On Android, Health Connect. Samsung Health, Fitbit, Garmin Connect (Android 14 or later), Oura and Withings share into it once you switch that on in their app. See Health Connect and Samsung Health.
You allow each data type on the phone's own permission screen. At the first connection the app imports the last 30 days, then keeps up each time you open it. Scores a brand calculates itself, such as Garmin's Body Battery or Oura's Readiness, are not shared through these stores and do not arrive.
What a fitness tracker looks like inside a health record
The watch data lands on the same timeline, called "Trend", as everything else you keep in Anpheros Daily: symptoms, medications, blood pressure, weight, meals and lab results. Steps appear as a bar per day; heart rate and sleep as daily values; workouts with their duration. Each value is marked as coming from a device, so a doctor can tell a watch estimate from a measurement you took with a cuff.
That context is the point:
- resting heart rate rose by 10 beats in the week a new medication started, and came back down after the dose changed;
- the nights with little deep sleep are the mornings with higher blood pressure;
- steps dropped two weeks before the knee pain was first written down.
The app shows the pattern. What it means is a conversation with your doctor: Anpheros Daily does not diagnose, does not score your fitness and does not tell you how to train.
Not a coach, not a training plan
Anpheros Daily is not a replacement for Strava, Garmin Connect or the Fitbit app. It does not record a run with GPS, build training plans, count reps or rank you against friends. Keep the fitness app you like for that. Anpheros Daily is where the numbers go afterwards, so that in a year, when a doctor asks "how active have you been?", the answer is on the screen next to your blood test instead of in a different app from a different year.
Apple Watch and Wear OS apps
There is also an Anpheros Daily app for Apple Watch and for Wear OS watches: the day's state and a quick "how do you feel" from your wrist. The measurements themselves still come through Apple Health or Health Connect.
At the doctor, and from a distance
The PDF report puts a period's steps, sleep and heart rate next to your symptoms, medications and lab results, on pages a doctor reads in a minute. If your doctor or clinic works with Anpheros, you can give them access to your record for a period you choose, and the readings your watch sends appear on their side as they arrive. You can revoke access at any time, and every read is logged. Everything is stored in the European Union in HL7 FHIR, the format hospitals use, and you can export it whenever you want.
Fitness tracker without a subscription?
The health record itself is free on the Basic plan, with no card and no time limit: symptoms, medications, documents and every measurement you enter by hand. Reading your watch through Apple Health or Health Connect is part of the Plus and Max plans, because syncing devices costs us something to run. Plus has a 7-day free trial where available, then the monthly price; you can cancel any time before it ends. If you stop paying, the data already imported stays in your record.
How to start
- Install Anpheros Daily on your iPhone or Android phone and create an account. Pick your language, out of 20.
- In Devices, choose Apple Health or Health Connect and pick the data you want to share: steps, workouts, sleep, heart rate.
- Your last 30 days appear on the timeline. Open Trend to see them next to the rest of your health.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free fitness tracker app?
The record itself is free on the Basic plan: symptoms, medications, documents and measurements entered by hand. Importing steps, sleep and heart rate from your watch through Apple Health or Health Connect is in the Plus and Max plans, with a 7-day free trial where available.
Does the fitness tracker work with Apple Watch?
Yes. Apple Watch writes into Apple Health on your iPhone, and Anpheros Daily reads from there: steps, distance, active energy, workouts, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen and sleep stages. There is also an Anpheros Daily app for Apple Watch.
Which fitness trackers work on Android?
Any watch or band whose app shares with Health Connect: Galaxy Watch through Samsung Health, Pixel Watch and Fitbit through the Fitbit app, Garmin through Garmin Connect on Android 14 or later, Oura, Withings. You switch sharing on in the device's own app, then allow Anpheros Daily to read it.
Does it record my runs or build a training plan?
No. Anpheros Daily does not track a workout live, record GPS routes or plan training. Workouts recorded by your watch arrive afterwards, with their type and duration, and sit next to the rest of your health.
Can I use it as an activity tracker online, in the browser?
Yes. Everything your watch sends is in the browser at app.anpheros.com and in the Mac app, with the same account. The connection to Apple Health or Health Connect is made on the phone; viewing works everywhere.
Why is a number different from my watch app?
Your watch app may not have shared its latest data with Apple Health or Health Connect yet, or it shares only some types. Open the watch app to sync, then open Anpheros Daily. Brand scores such as Body Battery or Readiness are never shared, so they do not appear.
Can my doctor see my fitness data?
Only if you give them access, for a period you choose, revocable at any time. The PDF report also puts your watch data next to your symptoms, medications and lab results.
Does Anpheros Daily write to Apple Health or Health Connect?
No. It only reads, and only the types you allowed. Nothing you enter in Anpheros Daily is written back to the phone's health store.
