Your child's medical records in one place: vaccines, growth, allergies and visits

Where to keep your child's medical records so you have them at every visit: a profile in a family health record app with vaccines, growth, allergies, medications, illnesses and the paediatrician's letters, shared with the other parent and with any doctor, with your consent.

Short answer: give your child their own profile in a family health record app and note everything there: vaccines, weight and height, allergies, medications, illnesses with their dates, and the paediatrician's letters and lab results. In Anpheros Daily the other parent can see the same profile through a QR code, any doctor can get access for the period you choose, and the record goes with your child when they get their own account.

A child's medical history is scattered faster than an adult's: a vaccination booklet at home, letters from the paediatrician, an emergency visit at night, a different doctor on holiday. At the next appointment the questions are always the same (when did the fever start, which antibiotic last time, what is the latest weight) and the answers are usually in a parent's memory. A record kept as you go answers them in seconds.

What to keep in your child's record

  • Vaccines: each dose with its date, so you see what has been given. The schedule itself comes from your doctor or your national programme.
  • Growth: weight and height at each measurement, checked against the WHO limits for the child's age and sex, to show the paediatrician.
  • Allergies and conditions: food and medicine allergies, asthma, eczema, anything a new doctor must know first.
  • Medications: what was prescribed, the dose and for how long, with reminders for daily doses.
  • Illnesses and symptoms: fever, rashes, coughs, with the date, intensity and a photo when it helps.
  • Documents: letters, lab results, discharge papers, scanned from the paper in a few seconds.

How it works in Anpheros Daily

Profiles for family members are part of the Plus plan; your own record is free on Basic.

  1. In your account, add a profile for your child: name, date of birth and a colour, so you never mix their entries with yours.
  2. Note the first things you have at hand: the vaccination booklet, known allergies, current medications.
  3. Scan the paediatrician's last letter and any lab report; the values are read automatically and you check them.
  4. From then on, note as things happen: a fever tonight, a new weight at the visit, a dose given.

You switch between family members with one tap, on the phone, the Mac or in the browser. See the family health record page for how profiles work.

Sharing with the other parent and with doctors

  • The other parent scans a QR code from your app and sees the child's profile in their own account, always up to date. The data stays in one place; they get access, which you can withdraw.
  • A doctor gets access to your child's record for the period you choose, or you show a summary or a PDF report for a period. Every opening is logged. Our guide on sharing your record with a clinic explains each option.
  • In an emergency, the emergency card shows allergies, conditions, medications, blood group and contacts.

When your child grows up

The record is your child's, not yours. When they are old enough to have their own account, you can transfer the whole history to them, and you keep access only if they decide so.

What the app does not do

Anpheros records and organises; it does not diagnose and does not recommend medicines or doses. For any question about your child's health, ask your doctor. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my child's vaccination record on my phone?

Yes. Each dose is noted with its date in your child's profile, and you can show the list at any visit or share it as a report. If you have the paper booklet, scan it once and note the doses.

Can both parents see the same record?

Yes. One parent keeps the profile and the other scans a QR code to see it in their own account. Both see the same, up-to-date record, and access can be withdrawn.

Does the paediatrician need to use Anpheros?

No. You can show the record on your phone, give a time-limited link, or print a PDF report. If the clinic uses Anpheros, it can request access, and you approve it for a period.

Can I track my child's growth?

Yes. Each time you note weight and height, the app shows them, and the BMI, against the WHO limits for the child's age and sex (up to age 10). It does not draw a growth chart over time.

What happens to the record when my child is older?

You can transfer it to your child's own account, with the whole history. From then on, they decide who sees it.

Where is the data stored?

In the European Union, under the GDPR, and you can export it in the standard HL7 FHIR R4 format. You can delete it at any time.
