"AI doctor" is one of the most typed health phrases of the year, and we understand why: you have a lab report in your hand, a question in your head, and the next appointment is in three weeks. We built something for that moment. We just refuse to call it a doctor, and this page explains what it is instead.

Explains your documents
A lab report or a specialist's letter, in plain words, term by term, with the source marked.

Summarises the course
What changed since the last visit: symptoms, measurements, medications, results, from your own record.

Prepares the visit
The questions worth asking your doctor, written down before you walk in.
Why we do not call it an AI doctor
A doctor examines you, asks the questions you did not think of, takes a history, orders tests, makes a diagnosis, prescribes, and takes responsibility for all of it. Software that claims to diagnose or to recommend treatment is, in the European Union, a medical device, with the certification and the liability that come with it. An "AI doctor app" that does this without certification is either breaking the rules or quietly not doing what the name promises.
Anpheros Daily's assistant does something narrower and, we think, more useful: it works on your own record, explains it, keeps it in order and prepares you for the people who are allowed to diagnose. The limits are built into what it does, not added as a disclaimer at the bottom.
What the AI health assistant does
- Explains a document. Open a scanned lab report or a medical letter and tap "Read with AI": you get a summary in plain words and an explanation of the terms, with the document it came from marked.
- Answers from your record, not from a blank page. It takes into account your symptoms, treatments, measurements, lab results and what you told it before, so "is this value higher than last year?" gets a real answer.
- Summarises the course. What has changed since the last visit to the same doctor, over the period you choose.
- Prepares your questions. From what it sees in the record and what you ask, it writes the list of questions worth taking to the appointment.
- Speaks your language. The app and the assistant work in 20 languages, and your record is coded to international standards, so a result from a laboratory abroad is understood.
Everything the assistant writes stays labelled as AI, separate from what a doctor or a laboratory wrote, and each answer carries its sources: which document, which value, which date.
Medical chat AI that starts from your data
General chatbots know a lot about medicine and nothing about you. To get a useful answer you upload PDFs, retype values and explain your history from scratch, every time, to a service that may keep what you send. Our guide on AI and your medical record lists what to ask before doing that.
The assistant in Anpheros Daily reads through the same consented access clinics and authorised apps use: by category, with your permission, with every read in your access log. You upload nothing anywhere. The data is processed in the European Union and is not used to train models.
What it will not do
- No diagnosis. Ask "what do I have?" and it will show you what is in your record, point out patterns and write the questions for your doctor. It will not name an illness.
- No medicines. It can explain a medication from your list and what it is for. It will not tell you what to take, how much, or whether to stop. Interactions are checked by your pharmacist or doctor, with the full list the app gives them.
- No emergencies. Chest pain, signs of a stroke, trouble breathing, a child who is hard to wake: call your local emergency number (112 anywhere in the EU). The assistant says so and stops.
- No certificates, prescriptions or sick notes. Those come from a doctor.
Is there a free AI doctor app? What the plans include
The record itself is free: on the Basic plan you keep documents, medications, symptoms, measurements and the emergency card, with no time limit. The AI assistant is part of the Plus and Max plans, with a number of messages per period; Plus has a 7-day trial, with no card required, so you can see what it does with your own documents before deciding.
How to start
- Install the app on iPhone or Android, or open app.anpheros.com.
- Scan a lab report or a letter you have at home.
- Start the Plus trial and tap "Read with AI" on that document.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free AI doctor app?
Anpheros is not an AI doctor, and we think nothing should call itself one. The medical record in Anpheros Daily is free on the Basic plan. The AI assistant, which explains your documents and prepares your questions for the doctor, is in the Plus and Max plans, with a 7-day trial of Plus at no cost and with no card.
Can the AI tell me what illness I have?
No. It does not diagnose. It shows what is in your record, points out patterns over time and writes the questions worth asking your doctor. Software that diagnoses is a medical device in the EU and needs certification; an app that promises a diagnosis without one is not something to trust with your health.
Can I ask the AI about my medications?
You can ask what a medication on your list is, what it is for and what the leaflet says. It will not recommend a medicine, a dose or stopping one, and it will not replace the interaction check your pharmacist or doctor does with your full list.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
Two things. It starts from your record, with your consent, so you do not upload or retype anything and the answer refers to your actual values and dates, with the source marked. And it is built to stay inside its limits: it explains and prepares, and sends you to a doctor for anything that is a doctor's call.
Is my health data used to train the AI?
No. The models are used under professional contracts that prohibit training on customer data, the processing happens in the European Union, and each time the assistant reads your record it is written to your access log.
What happens in an emergency?
The assistant is not for emergencies. For chest pain, signs of a stroke, trouble breathing or any situation that frightens you, call your local emergency number, 112 anywhere in the EU. The app's emergency card, with your blood group, allergies and medications, is there for the people who help you.
Does the medical chat work in my language?
Yes. The app and the assistant work in 20 languages. Because your record is coded to international standards, a lab report in one language is explained correctly in another.
Can I talk to a real doctor through the app?
No. Anpheros is not a telemedicine service and does not offer doctor chat. What you can do is give your own doctor or clinic access to your record, with your consent and for a period you choose, or send them a report before a visit.
