EHDS
European Health Data Space (Regulation (EU) 2025/327)
The EHDS is the EU regulation, in force since March 2025, that gives people the right to access and share their electronic health data across the EU (primary use) and sets a framework for research and policy use (secondary use).
It requires a European exchange format, with the patient summary and ePrescription first, and phases in between 2027 and 2031.
