Secondary use
Secondary use is the use of health data for purposes other than the care it was collected for: research, statistics, policy, product development, and under the EHDS the training of AI.
The EHDS creates health data access bodies that grant permits for it, with data delivered in a secure environment and usually pseudonymised.
