ePA
elektronische Patientenakte (Germany)
The ePA is Germany's electronic patient record, provided by the statutory health insurers and created for every insured person since January 2025 unless they opt out.
Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies reach it through the Telematikinfrastruktur, and its content is increasingly FHIR-based (medication list, lab results).
