$expand
ValueSet $expand operation
$expand is the FHIR terminology operation that turns a value set definition into the explicit list of codes it contains, optionally filtered by a text search.
It is what powers a coded pick-list in a form: the app asks the server to expand the allowed value set and shows the result.
