MedicationRequest
FHIR MedicationRequest resource
MedicationRequest is the FHIR resource for a prescription or medication order: the drug (coded), dosage instructions, the prescriber, the reason and dispensing details.
It records what was prescribed; what the patient actually takes is a MedicationStatement.
