In short: Anpheros is a health record you control. Your data is stored in the European Union, nobody sees it unless you approve, we do not sell it or use it for advertising, you can delete everything, and the app does not diagnose.
Who runs Anpheros
Anpheros is run from Romania, in the European Union, by its founder, Adrian Kereky, as a natural person, until the company that will take over the service is incorporated; the change will be announced in the privacy policy. Contact: [email protected]. Data protection: [email protected]. Security reports: [email protected].
Our revenue, costs and the 50% of what reaches us from subscriptions that we donate to partner organisations are published on the transparency page, without any data about people.
Where your data is stored
- Your records are stored on Google Cloud in the Netherlands (region europe-west4), encrypted in transit and at rest.
- The AI assistant in the app uses Google's Vertex AI service, and a request to it may be processed outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The privacy policy lists every provider.
- AI assistants you connect yourself, such as Claude or ChatGPT, are run by their own companies; what you allow them to read is sent to them and may be processed in the United States, under their own terms.
- We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The health data in your Anpheros record is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who can see your record
Only you, and the people and services you approve:
- Doctors: you create a link or QR code, choose what it shows and for how long (7, 30 or 90 days or, for the emergency summary only, with no end date), and can stop it at any time. A link to your full record always needs a passcode.
- Clinics: a clinic can ask for access; you approve what it may see and for how long, in the app.
- Family: profiles you share with another account by QR code; an adult can take over their own record.
- AI assistants such as Claude: only if you connect them, only the parts you allow, for 90 days at a time, and you can stop access at once.
Every access appears in your access log in the app.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- There is no advertising inside the app, and we do not build marketing profiles.
- We do not use your health data to target ads. On anpheros.com, Google Analytics (visit counts) and Google Ads (sign-ups from our ads) are used only if you accept them; they never receive your health data or which health pages you read. app.anpheros.com uses Google Ads measurement only if you accept it, and no analytics.
- We do not contact anyone or reveal anyone's identity without that person's consent.
You stay in control
- Export your record at any time (PDF or HL7 FHIR).
- Delete your account in the app or by email. You have 90 days to change your mind; after that the deletion is final, and deleted data leaves our backups within 8 days.
- Withdraw any consent in the app.
What the app does not do
Anpheros organises your records and shows patterns over time. It does not diagnose, does not recommend medicines or doses, and is not a medical device. For decisions about your health, talk to your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe).
Open standards
Your record is stored as standard HL7 FHIR R4 data and can be shared as an International Patient Summary, so it is not locked into Anpheros. Developers and clinics reach it only through Anpheros Platform, with your consent.
