CodeableConcept

Updated

A CodeableConcept is the FHIR datatype that represents one clinical concept with zero or more Codings (code plus code system) and an optional free-text display.

It is what lets a single diagnosis carry both a SNOMED CT code and an ICD-10 code at the same time, and nearly every coded element in FHIR uses it.
