XDS
Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing
XDS is the IHE profile for sharing clinical documents within a community: a registry indexes the documents and one or more repositories store them.
Many national and regional records (Austria's ELGA, Swiss EPD) are built on it, and its FHIR equivalent is the MHD profile using DocumentReference.
