CDA
Clinical Document Architecture
CDA is the HL7 XML standard for clinical documents such as discharge summaries, with a header (patient, author, date) and a body that can be free text or coded entries.
It sits between HL7 v2 and FHIR historically and is still the document format in many national records, including ELGA in Austria and the US C-CDA.
