ADT
Admit, Discharge, Transfer (HL7 v2 message)
ADT messages are the HL7 v2 messages a hospital system sends when a patient is registered, admitted, transferred, discharged or has their details updated (A01, A03, A08 and about fifty more events).
They keep every other system's patient list in sync and correspond to Encounter and Patient updates in FHIR.
