PID
Patient Identification segment (HL7 v2)
PID is the HL7 v2 segment that identifies the patient: identifiers (PID-3), name (PID-5), date of birth (PID-7), sex (PID-8), address and contact details.
It appears in almost every message type and maps to the FHIR Patient resource.
