ORM
General Order Message (HL7 v2)
ORM^O01 is the classic HL7 v2 order message (version 2.3 to 2.5) with which a clinical system asks a lab, radiology or pharmacy to perform something, built around ORC and OBR segments.
Newer versions replace it with specialised messages such as OML for laboratory orders; its FHIR counterpart is ServiceRequest.
