SMART Health Links

SHL

Updated

A SMART Health Link is a URL or QR code that shares encrypted health data (for example an IPS) with whoever holds the link, optionally protected by a passcode and limited in time.

The data is encrypted with a key inside the link itself, so the server that hosts it cannot read it.
