EMDN
European Medical Device Nomenclature
EMDN is the nomenclature manufacturers use to describe the type of each medical device they register in EUDAMED, in an alphanumeric hierarchy of categories, groups and types.
It is free to use, is based on the Italian CND classification, and supports the device registration required by the EU MDR and IVDR.
