FSH

FHIR Shorthand

Updated

FSH (FHIR Shorthand) is the HL7 text language for writing FHIR profiles, extensions, value sets and example instances in a compact, readable form instead of hand-written JSON or XML.

A compiler called SUSHI turns FSH files into FHIR definitions that the IG Publisher builds into an implementation guide; many current HL7 and national guides are written this way and kept in version control.
