FHIR StructureDefinition resource
StructureDefinition is the FHIR resource that formally defines a resource, a data type, a profile or an extension, element by element, with cardinalities, types, bindings and constraints.
Every profile and extension in an implementation guide is published as a StructureDefinition, and validators read them to check whether an instance conforms.
