Zero trust

Zero trust architecture

Updated

Zero trust is a security model that grants no implicit trust to anything inside the network: every user, device and request is verified explicitly, with least-privilege access.

It replaces the perimeter model that hospital networks relied on and is usually organised around identity, devices, networks, applications and data, a response to ransomware and remote access.
