Decision Support Intervention (ONC HTI-1)

Updated

A decision support intervention is the ONC term for technology in certified health IT that supports clinical decisions, either evidence-based or predictive, such as a model trained on data.

The HTI-1 criterion requires certified EHRs to expose source attributes for predictive DSIs, covering intended use, training data, fairness, validation and monitoring, so users can judge them.
