HTI-1
Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Certification Program Updates, Algorithm Transparency, and Information Sharing
HTI-1 is the ONC final rule, effective 11 March 2024, that updated the US Health IT Certification Program.
It made USCDI version 3 the baseline from 1 January 2026, added transparency requirements for AI and other predictive algorithms in certified health IT, and revised the information blocking exceptions, including a new one for exchange under TEFCA.
