EU Digital COVID Certificate

Updated

The EU Digital COVID Certificate was the signed QR-code certificate of COVID-19 vaccination, test or recovery that applied in the EU from 1 July 2021 until its regulation expired on 30 June 2023, and was also adopted by 51 non-EU countries and territories.

Its trust framework, in which countries exchange public keys to verify each other's signatures, became the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network.
