CARIN Consumer Directed Payer Data Exchange (CARIN IG for Blue Button)
CARIN Blue Button is the HL7 FHIR R4 implementation guide, developed with the CARIN Alliance, for giving health plan members their claims and coverage data through an app of their choice.
It profiles ExplanationOfBenefit, Coverage, Patient and related resources, and it is the guide CMS suggests for the Patient Access API.
