Patient Access API
CMS Patient Access API
The Patient Access API is the FHIR API that US payers covered by CMS rules must offer so that their members can send claims, encounter and clinical data, including lab results, to an app of their choice.
It covers data with dates of service from 1 January 2016, and CMS suggests the CARIN for Blue Button implementation guide for building it.
