Cures Act Final Rule
ONC 21st Century Cures Act Final Rule
The ONC Cures Act Final Rule, published on 1 May 2020, implements the interoperability provisions of the US 21st Century Cures Act.
It defines information blocking and its exceptions, requires certified health IT to offer standardised APIs so patients can reach their data through apps, and sets conditions of certification for developers.
