XDR
Cross-Enterprise Document Reliable Interchange
XDR is the IHE profile for sending a set of documents directly from one system to another over a web-services push, using the same metadata as XDS but without a registry or repository.
It suits point-to-point exchange such as a referral between two organisations, and it is one of the transports behind the US Direct messaging specification.
