XDW
Cross-Enterprise Document Workflow
XDW is the IHE content profile that tracks a shared clinical workflow, such as a referral or an e-prescription, as a workflow document that each participant updates with its tasks and their status.
It is stored and exchanged through XDS like any other document, so organisations can coordinate a process without a central workflow engine.
