FHIR ActivityDefinition resource
ActivityDefinition is the FHIR resource that describes a single action in general terms, such as a lab order, a referral or a medication order, without tying it to a patient.
Its $apply operation turns it into a real request, such as a ServiceRequest or MedicationRequest, for a given patient, and PlanDefinitions use it as a reusable building block.
