C-MOVE

DICOM Composite Move service

Updated

C-MOVE is the DICOM retrieve operation: the caller asks an archive to send matching studies, series or images to a named AE title, and the archive delivers them through C-STORE sub-operations on a separate association.

Because the destination must be configured on the archive in advance, it is a frequent source of network and configuration problems; its DICOMweb counterpart is WADO-RS.
