CDS Hooks card
CDS Hooks service response card
A CDS Hooks card is the unit of advice a decision support service returns when the EHR calls it at a hook, with a short summary, an indicator (info, warning or critical) and the source of the advice.
A card can also carry suggestions, which are proposed FHIR changes the clinician can accept, and links, often to a SMART app; the clinician can dismiss it with an override reason, and the EHR can send that feedback to the service.
