CPT
Current Procedural Terminology
CPT is the five-digit code set owned by the American Medical Association for reporting medical, surgical and diagnostic services by physicians and outpatient providers in the US.
It forms Level I of HCPCS and is required on US claims, but it is copyrighted and needs a licence to use in software.
