POCT1-A
Point-of-care testing connectivity standard (CLSI POCT1-A, ISO 11073-90101)
POCT1-A is the CLSI standard for connecting point-of-care testing devices, such as blood gas, glucose and coagulation meters, to data managers and the laboratory information system, published internationally as ISO 11073-90101.
It defines an XML device messaging layer between the device and a data manager and an HL7 v2 observation reporting interface towards the LIS, so results from many vendors reach one place.
