IHE LTW
IHE Laboratory Testing Workflow
LTW is the IHE profile for the flow of laboratory tests between the ordering system, the LIS and laboratory automation, from the order and specimen identification to the results and their corrections.
It uses HL7 v2.5.1 order and result messages such as OML and ORU, while IHE LAW covers the next step, between the LIS and the analysers.
