LIVD
LOINC to IVD test code mapping
LIVD is a standard format, published as an HL7 FHIR implementation guide, in which in vitro diagnostic manufacturers publish the LOINC codes they suggest for each test their analysers and kits report.
Laboratories use these catalogues to map instrument test codes to LOINC when connecting a device to the LIS, instead of starting from scratch.
