DG1
Diagnosis segment (HL7 v2)
DG1 is the HL7 v2 segment that carries a coded diagnosis for a visit, typically an ICD code with its coding system, diagnosis type (admitting, working, final) and date.
It appears in ADT, scheduling and order messages and maps to the FHIR Condition resource linked to the Encounter.
