IEEE 11073 SDC
Service-oriented Device Connectivity (ISO/IEEE 11073-20701)
SDC is the family of ISO/IEEE 11073 standards (10207, 20701, 20702) for networking point-of-care devices such as ventilators, patient monitors and infusion pumps in the operating room and intensive care, based on web services.
It lets devices from different manufacturers share data and, under defined safety rules, be controlled remotely, while gateways map the data to HL7 v2 or FHIR for clinical systems.
