SIU
Scheduling Information Unsolicited (HL7 v2)
SIU is the HL7 v2 message family a scheduling system sends when an appointment is booked, rescheduled, cancelled or marked as a no-show (S12 to S26), with SCH and resource segments.
It keeps departmental systems such as radiology in step with the central schedule, and in FHIR it maps to Appointment resources.
