Claude is good at explaining things. What it has never had is your history: the lab result from March, the medication you stopped in the summer, the headaches you logged last month. Anpheros Health is a connector that gives Claude exactly that, from your own Anpheros record, with your permission and only the parts you choose.
You ask in plain words ("what changed in my blood tests since spring?"), and Claude answers from your record instead of from guesses, and can show where each fact comes from.
What the connector is
A connector is a bridge Claude uses to reach a service you already use. Anpheros Health is listed in Claude's connectors directory as a community connector (since 22 October 2026) and works in Claude on the web and mobile, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and the Claude API. Anpheros Health connects Claude to your health record in Anpheros: the same record you keep in Anpheros Daily, with your lab results, medications, conditions, vaccinations, symptoms and measurements, including what you imported from Apple Health or Health Connect.
It is built on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), the standard Claude uses for connectors, and on HL7 FHIR R4, the open format for medical records. Behind the connector is the same consent system Anpheros uses for clinics and apps.
What Claude can do with it
- Summarise your record before a visit: active problems, current medications, allergies, recent results.
- Show a lab result in context: your value, the reference range from your report, and how it compares with your earlier results.
- Show a measurement over time (blood pressure, weight, glucose, a lab value) and compare two periods.
- Find patterns in what you logged: what changed and what keeps coming back, with the evidence for each. These are observations, not medical conclusions.
- Note something for you: a symptom (with an intensity from 0 to 10), a measurement (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, temperature, glucose) or a short note. It reaches your Anpheros app as a proposal, and it is added to your record only when you approve it there.
- Look up health terms (symptoms, conditions, treatments from public sources), with no access to your record needed.
Anpheros does not diagnose or recommend treatment, and tells Claude to send diagnosis and treatment questions to a doctor. Claude's answers come from Anthropic's model and can be wrong; check anything important with your doctor. Claude can help you prepare the questions.
You stay in control
When Claude asks for access, you see the Anpheros consent screen, not Claude's:
- Nothing is ticked by default. You choose what Claude may read: measurements and lab results, conditions, medications and doses taken, allergies, vaccinations, procedures, medical reports, visits and hospital stays, appointments, care plans, health goals. Nothing ticked means nothing allowed.
- Read-only by default. Documents, photos and family profiles are not included unless you add them.
- 90 days, then you renew it if you still want it.
- Stop at any time in the app: Settings › Connections › Claude › Stop access. It stops at once.
- Every read is logged, and you see the log in the app.
What Claude reads is sent to Anthropic, the company that runs Claude, under its own terms. More in what happens to your health data with Claude.
How to add it
In Claude, open Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, give it the name Anpheros Health and the address https://platform.anpheros.com/mcp. You can also find Anpheros Health in Claude's connectors directory (Settings › Connectors) and choose Connect. Claude opens the Anpheros sign-in and consent screen; you choose, and you are back in Claude. The full walkthrough, with what to expect at each step: how to connect Claude to your medical records.
You need a free Anpheros account with your record in it; no paid Anpheros plan is required. Download Anpheros Daily for iPhone, Android, Mac or the web.
Frequently asked questions
Is Anpheros Health in the Claude connectors directory?
Yes. It is listed in Claude's connectors directory as a community connector since 22 October 2026. You can also add it as a custom connector with the address https://platform.anpheros.com/mcp.
Can Claude see my whole medical record?
Only the categories you tick on the Anpheros consent screen. By default nothing is ticked, and documents, photos and family profiles are excluded unless you add them.
Can Claude change my record?
Claude can only propose a symptom, a measurement or a short note. The proposal waits in your Anpheros app, and nothing is added until you approve it. You can edit or delete it later.
Does Claude diagnose me with this?
No. Anpheros returns your own records and statistical patterns; it does not diagnose or recommend treatment, and Claude is told to send diagnosis and treatment questions to a doctor.
How do I disconnect Claude?
In the Anpheros app: Settings › Connections › Claude › Stop access. Access ends immediately, and it also ends by itself after 90 days unless you renew it.
Do I need to pay for Anpheros to use it?
No. A free Anpheros account is enough. Which Claude plans can use connectors is decided by Anthropic; see Anthropic's help pages for your plan.
