This guide takes you from "Claude doesn't know anything about my health" to "Claude can read my lab results and medications, because I allowed it", in about two minutes. You need two things: a Claude account and an Anpheros account with your record in it. If you do not have the second yet, download Anpheros Daily first and add a few things (a lab report, your medications).
Step 1: open Connectors in Claude
On claude.ai, in Claude Desktop or in the Claude mobile app, open Settings › Connectors. Connectors are how Claude reaches services you already use. Which Claude plans can use connectors is decided by Anthropic; if you do not see the option, check Anthropic's help pages for your plan.
Step 2: add the Anpheros Health connector
Choose Add custom connector and fill in:
- Name: Anpheros Health
- Remote MCP server URL:
https://platform.anpheros.com/mcp
There is nothing else to configure: no key to copy, no password to give Claude. Claude finds the Anpheros sign-in on its own.
Anpheros Health is also listed in Claude's connectors directory as a community connector: in Settings › Connectors, search for it and choose Connect instead. It reaches the same server.
Step 3: sign in to Anpheros and choose what Claude may read
Claude opens the Anpheros page. Sign in with your Anpheros account (the same one as in the app). You then see the consent screen, which is ours, not Claude's:
- It says plainly that this is an AI assistant, and that what it reads is sent to the company that runs it (Anthropic, for Claude).
- Nothing is ticked. Tick only the categories you want Claude to read, for example measurements and lab results, medications, allergies or vaccinations. You can also allow Claude to propose new measurements. Select all is there if you want everything.
- Allow stays disabled until you tick at least one box.
- Access is read-only, lasts 90 days, and documents, photos and family profiles are left out unless you add them.
Choose Allow, and you are back in Claude.
Step 4: ask your first question
Start a new chat and ask something about your own record. Claude may ask you to approve the first use of a tool; that is Claude's own safety step.
- "Using Anpheros Health, summarise my record before my GP appointment."
- "How has my cholesterol changed over the last year?"
- "Which medications am I on, and since when?"
- "Note a headache today, 6 out of 10, started after lunch." (It reaches your Anpheros app as a proposal, under Settings › Connections › To approve. Approve it there and it is saved.)
For lab results specifically, see asking Claude about your blood test results.
Step 5: on your phone
Connectors you add on claude.ai are tied to your Claude account, so you can use them in the Claude app on your phone as well. If it does not appear right away, open the app's settings and check the connectors list.
How to stop access
In Anpheros Daily: Settings › Connections › Claude › Stop access. It stops at once, even mid-conversation. You can also remove the connector in Claude, but stopping it in Anpheros is what ends the access to your record. It also ends by itself after 90 days.
If something does not work
- "Allow" is greyed out: tick at least one category.
- Claude says it has no access: start a new chat, check that the connector is enabled for the chat, and that access has not been stopped or expired in Connections.
- Wrong person's record: each connection reaches one record, the one you chose when you allowed access. To use a family member's record, they connect from their own account.

Frequently asked questions
What is the address of the Anpheros connector for Claude?
https://platform.anpheros.com/mcp. Paste it in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, with the name Anpheros Health. It is also listed in Claude's connectors directory, where you can connect it in one step.
Do I have to give Claude my Anpheros password?
No. You sign in on the Anpheros page, not in Claude. Claude only receives a token for the access you chose, and you can revoke it at any time.
Can I choose only some of my data?
Yes. On the consent screen nothing is ticked by default; you tick only the categories you want, for example lab results but not medications.
How long does the connection last?
90 days. After that you renew it if you still want it, or let it end. You can stop it earlier in Connections.
Does it work in Claude Desktop and on mobile?
Yes. Add it once in your Claude account settings, then use it in Claude on the web, in Claude Desktop and in the Claude mobile app.
